3 Important Virtual Season Updates: Kids On TV! DJ Cozmic Cat! Call For Proposals!

As we gear up for Virtual Season, the art & music festival we’ll be co-presenting on July 29th with Toronto Artist-Run Centre Whippersnapper, we’ll be posting updates & oh-so-necessary announcements in the midst of our regular Sheroic programming. (You can keep up with these updates via our “Virtual Season” tag.)

Hence forth, 3 important Virtual Season updates.

1. FUCK YEAH KIDS ON TV 

Toronto electro punks Kids On TV have been added as a headliner to Virtual Season’s evening programming.

The queer experimental rockers are releasing their second album, Pantheon, this summer, and recently dropped the music video for the album’s first single “Bobby”,  which features Canadian electro pop singer Diamond Rings.

2. FUCK YEAH DJ COZMIC CAT

Veteran block rockin’ DJ Cozmic Cat has also been added to Virtual Season’s evening programming. As a promoter, producer & top party rocker, Cozmic Cat has dropped bombs on dancefloors worldwide, from hotels in Australia and Puerto Rico to clubs in Las Vegas, D.C. & New York City.

3. FUCK YEAH CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Whippersnapper & Sheroes is currently accepting proposals for internet-based or net art practises — digital animations — that will be featured as site-specific video projections for Virtual Season’s night programme.
