3 Important Virtual Season Updates: Kids On TV! DJ Cozmic Cat! Call For Proposals!
As we gear up for Virtual Season, the art & music festival we’ll be co-presenting on July 29th with Toronto Artist-Run Centre Whippersnapper, we’ll be posting updates & oh-so-necessary announcements in the midst of our regular Sheroic programming. The monthly, limited-run art party series — which brings together on and offline works that playfully and performatively explore the iconography and fan culture surrounding the “League of Legendary Ladies” — will be co-headlined by U.S. Girls and Ulysses Castellanos.
Headliners include a 23rd Century Blues-inspired performance by Chicago/Toronto DIY ingenue U.S. Girls (the alluring “Eno of the 2250s” music/persona of Megan Remy, who recently released her third full length “U.S. Girls on Kraak” on Belgian label Kraak), Sprechgesang live PA by Toronto performance artist Ulysses Castellanos, a Hazelton Clinic Duet with Adventure Studies (a returning Sheroes music project by artist Derek Aubichon) & Sheroes salonnière reeraw, emcee extraordinaire Silk Degrees and resident DJ NoLoves.
Our popular “nail art bar” by Smack of the Hand (AKA Brittany Bennington) returns, with free Grande Dame-inspired manis.

The “WAG” is nano virtual gallery-room I developed for IPhone, IPod Touch and I Pad. Every month, directly on your mobile, The “WAG” hosts a solo digital art exhibition related to the dynamic site-specific contest.
